Spot reward gift cards are given to employees who are caught going above and beyond. End-of- year bonuses based on overall company profitability and individual performance are given. Longevity bonuses to reward long-term, loyal employees. Internal lunches for special events.
What is your company’s most popular perk?
The company shuts down and employees receive holiday pay for the week between Christmas and New Year’s, which consistently gives our employees the opportunity to make quality holiday plans with their families.
What would others be surprised to know about your firm?
That on occasion, we hire a non-K-State graduate or fan.

Our employees come first. We work hard, which gives us the opportunity to play hard, and we recognize the satisfaction of doing a job well done.

We encourage open and honest communication between co-workers about their workload and non-job related time demands. This promotes a spirit of cooperation among team members to help each other.

Safety and quality work are the first topics covered during new hire orientation, and those topics are reiterated to all employees in almost every communication, whether in meetings, by email, or in team gatherings.
Aside from the BPTW competition, how do you measure employee engagement?
Through active participation in company events and employee meetings, and most employees have personal relationships/friendships outside of work with their co-workers.
